Holy City of Modrian woodarrow.jpg Map
The most populous city on the past continent of Rodinia, the holy city of Modrian serves as the crossroads of adventure. Well-trodden roads lead from the famed Holy Square to the Dragonspine Mountains, the frontier town of Istan, and desert city of New Arrnos. Due to its sacred importance, Modrian is protected by Knights of Guiharia, hailed as “Holy Defenders.” The mysterious Zepherous Protectors also patrol the skies, putting swift end to any violence they see. Home to the Temple of Guiharia, the great Silver Tower, and the Soulful Bard Inn, devout citizens, travelers, adventurers, priests, and rogues all mingle here as they go their separate ways.

New Arrnos woodarrow.jpg Map
The prosperous city of New Arrnos lies on the northern outskirts of the Great Western Desert along the Western Highway. The central hub of the city is a grand bazaar, where numerous shops are located filled with merchants selling their goods. A royal Sultan runs the city from his palace with his elite guards who endlessly patrol the dusty streets.

Istan woodarrow.jpg Map
This palisaded traveler’s town lies between the eastern Cross Roads and the northern Dragonspire mountains. Its rugged appearance is no facade, for the outpost city is a waystop for many travelers who provide the main source of commerce as they pass through. A large lumberyard slowly clears the forest around the city, employing many of the city’s souls. Word has it that a opening to the mysterious caverns of UnderMountain is somewhere in the city.

Solace Cove
On the western coast of the middle continent churns the sparsely populated, yet prosperous merchant-city of Solace Cove. The sheltered waters connecting the Sirocco Ocean makes this small harbor an ideal sea-port, bringing numerous visitors to the oceanside city. Sailing vessels with bright flags line the docks, offloading pesky pirates and their rambunctious crews. The tall lighthouse which guides ships to the harbor is surpassed in height only by a mysterious mage’s tower, rising from the center of the cove’s foggy waters.
Cities of the Future

Magical City, Mavernal woodarrow.jpg Map
Home to powerful Magi, conjured butterflies, tasty chocolate frogs, and the beautiful Imogene, it is obvious why Mavernal is called the Magical City. Wizards from across Calidan travel here to practice and refine their skills and spellcraft. While preferring to associate amongst themselves, the mages are not unkindly outsiders - Knock at the gates and the mayor just may grant you a friendly welcome. Kaleena’s Housing facilities are also located within Mavernal, housing many adventurers who are willing to pay for the price of comfort and accessibility, including a direct link to the High Tower of Magic, the grandest school of magic and lore.

Shadow City, Shade woodarrow.jpg Map
Phasing between this plane of existence and the Shadow plane, this city has been bespelled. The citizens seem apathetic to the problem, continuing to go on with their daily lives. Many shopkeepers with interesting warez to sell decorate the streets. A large tower presides over the dim city, and rumors abound of a twisted maze of catacombs beneath the shadow city.

Electro Centralis woodarrow.jpg Map
Electro Centralis (EC) is the futuristic central city on Calidan, 3600 years after the Modrian period. This advanced, sprawling metropolis is controlled by the corporate technocrats of the Electro Company, a subsidiary of the NEO Corporation. Technological innovation thrives here as the corporate-city uses its citizens as a test bed for cybernetic integration, new medical procedures, black market weaponry, and industrial production. Surrounded by mutated forests, radioactive rubble, and high-tech security, the denizens live without fear of invasion. The only worries lay from within, as heavy crime keeps security on constant alert. Robots and rogues intermingle from the tallest skyscrapers, to the deepest sub-level. The overland avenues and underground MagLev lead to innumerable places of discovery, within and beyond the city. Electro Centralis is the hub of future activity.

Zul’Dane woodarrow.jpg Map
The polluted city of Zul’Dane lies to the northeast of Electro-controlled Centralis. Inhabited by orcs and trolls, this quasi-civilized metropolis is dominated by the super-highway which is the source of most of the pollution. One should be wary when traveling here, as the citizens are well guarded and not to be trifled with.
