On Tempus, races are designations of species. There are advantages and disadvantages for each. Some races exist only in the past, and some only in the future. The max stats for all races as a mortal (gen 0) is 18. If a race’s max is different from 18, it is listed below.

Each race has cultivated their own verbal language which they speak by default. All races, however, also understand and speak the ‘common language’. To begin speaking in different language, type speak <language>. For example, speak common. Languages teachers are known to be scattered across Calidan, though their exact whereabouts remain a mystery.

Like Elves, they are slightly faster and smarter than humans and just a little less healthy. Unlike Elves, the lifespan of Drow is only around 500 years. This is probably due to their link with chaos.

Drow speak underdark.
