How Does Banking Work

Bank tellers, Conjured money handlers, and ATMs all serve the same purpose: to let you store and access your funds. It is always a bit dangerous to walk around with your entire bankroll on your person, so we encourage you to make frequent deposits. Banks will not give you interest, nor will they charge you for their services. They are simply there to store your money.

An important note to make is that all banking entities are linked together. For example, if you deposit money with the money handler At the Top of the Raised Dais in Modrian, you can withdraw that money from the magical money machine at Kaleena's Place in Mavernal.

Depending on which time period you are in, the DEPOSIT command will either deposit gold or credits into a central fund that is shared between all characters in your account. Any character under your account name has access to this deposited money by using the WITHDRAW command.
